I Have "Hyung" as an Appetizer, "Canola" for My Main Course, and "Missing" as a Terrible Dessert

Stumbled upon this site, my Korean movie bucket list are almost complete. No need to go to cinema, I was so lucky to watch "My Annoying Brother" (Hyung) with Indonesian subtitle here. Kim Go Eun's movie was my second stop, I've been waiting so long for the sub in other site then found "Canola" to watch there. But I have to admit that the longer you stay, the more addictions appear. It happened to me. Telling myself that i won't watch another one after I finish "Canola", but starting "Missing" right after! ๐Ÿ˜…

According to Asianwiki, the plot tells about Ji-Sun (Uhm Ji-Won) and her physician ex-husband are fighting over custody of their daughter Da-Eun. While trying to perform her job at a PR company, Ji-Sun juggles time with her daughter and winning her difficult custody battle.

Ji-Sun recently hired a Korean-Chinese nanny, Han-Mae (Gong Hyo-Jin), to help watch over Da-Eun. One evening, Ji-Sun comes back home from work, but Han-Mae and Da-Eun are not there. Ji-Sun desperately searches for her daughter. The outcome of her custodial battle and job commitments linger in the background. Meanwhile, Han-Mae's story is slowly revealed.

This current film project from Gong Hyo Jin was psychological thriller movie ever! Maybe you're not officially being a mother yet, but the movie made an emotional appeal when you're apart from your child. I didn't shed a tear frankly because the photos were shared by Gong Hyo Jin and Um Ji Won during behind the scenes are so truly real event I trust the most ๐Ÿ˜€
